Dear Mr. Kenilworth,
I have come across the advertisement of your company on the internet where it has been mentioned that there is an opening in your company for the post of a store manager. I feel that I have all the capabilities of forwarding my candidature for this post in your esteemed company. At present I am working as store assistant in a reputed company but I have a great desire to be the head of the stores department in a reputed company.
I have the requisite qualification that is required for this post and I know that I will be able to do my duties very effectively and efficiently if I am given the opportunity to serve in your company. I have the idea that the store is the heart of any company as all the raw materials and other goods are kept in the store and any mismanagement will affect the production of the company and there by its profit margin which will affect all the employees of the company.
I can assure you that I will perform my duties with full honesty and sincerity so that the heart throb of the company is not affected. I will keep a strict vigilance on the maintenance work of the store so that all the goods are maintained in their proper condition and can be made available whenever it is required. I will also ensure that the scrap material is disposed off in such a manner that the company does not incur loss but can get some earning by selling the scrap at a reasonable rate.
During my college days I have worked part time as store keeper. This has given me the idea of how to maintain the store so that the goods are in their proper condition and is not affected by the weather condition or other natural parasites. This knowledge will surely help me in performing my duties efficiently and with ease as I can apply all my maintenance knowledge to keep the store in a spic and span condition.
I have also done a course in sales and marketing which will be an added advantage for the company as this knowledge will be an added advantage for the company as I can survey the market and procure the best goods for the company which will help them to produce quality goods at affordable rates and increase the profit margin of the company. I hope my experiences will give me a chance to get an appointment with you so that I can talk face to face with you and prove my worth. If I am given the opportunity I shall surely contribute towards the progress of the company and maintain a cordial relation with all so that all the work can be done in a smooth manner and there are no grievances from any side.
