This is an application with reference to your advertisement published in the employment supplement of The Sun News paper stating about a vacancies for the post of Reception Manager in Global Consultancy Services LTD. I believe that my qualification and skill is acceptably at per with your requirement. Hence, I am applying for the post mentioned above.
My career objective is seeking for a position as a Reception Manager in an organization that rewards the constructive approach, hard work, dependability and sincerity of an employee and gives recognition to the best performer in a team environment. I would be extremely interested in working for a corporation that is serving the surroundings and also has an outstanding status as an employer in our society.
I have earned a Bachelor degree in Science with management as a special subject from The University of Oklahoma, Tulsa, with a general GPA of 3.0/4.0. I have also taken advanced diploma course in Reception management as post graduation studies from Horizon Academy which is an ISO9000 certified company.
Now I am highlighting my professional career. As it is mentioned in the attached resume, I started my career as a receptionist at ABC Private Ltd. for 5 years where I handled incoming calls, post and courier services. I am quite familiar with Windows-operated systems and skilled with Office 2000 and MS Word. I am also used to with spreadsheet program like Excel and Office. Working with Mile Stone consultancy, a multi national company, I used to enhance the management’s output by arranging monthly meetings to confer about the events, issues and scope for improvement within the company. I redesigned all trade forms, together with the time management sheets, inventory sheets and engagement calendars to make the most of efficiency and lucidity. In my work arena I managed employees to execute human resource activities such as recruitment, deciding performance appraisals and other actions. I was also accountable for setting up departments, resolving conflicts and shaping salaries.
My strong points are exceptional logical skills, aptitude to work in adverse situations, encouraging approach towards all sorts of critical situations and talent to handle the responsibilities of customer service. I am a fluent speaker, reader and writer in English, Spanish and German. My hobbies include writing scripts for plays, painting portraits, fishing and listening to soft music.
As a student I am justifying my intelligence and capability as well as searching for new and better opportunities in the relevant field.
