Dear Mr. Kenilworth,
I am writing this letter in response to the Advertisement in the XXX paper on 20 April, 2008. It would be an opportunity of great pride to fly the aero planes of such a reputed and one of the oldest aviation companies. I have an obsession for flying from my childhood. When I was small I used to play with aero planes when other boys used to play with guns and blocks. I had conjured a dream of becoming a pilot officer from my childhood.
To give shape to my dreams I decided that I shall overcome all the hurdles and strive to achieve the highest qualification required to become a pilot officer. By God’s grace and with the help of my firm grit and determination I am able to accomplish my dreams and they can finally be finally turned into reality if I am given the opportunity to join your company as pilot officer.
I am the life member of the Chicago Flying Club. It is the place where I get full opportunity to come in contact with pilots working in various airlines of the world. They share their experiences which enhances my knowledge about international flights. It also makes me aware about the various types of difficulties they have to face during their flights and the different types of weather conditions they have to endure on duty.
At present I am working as co-pilot in a domestic airways company where my dreams are partially fulfilled as I have a great desire to fly large passenger planes to far off countries and enjoy the bliss of traveling along with deriving the opportunity of knowing about the people, their culture, and tradition their food habits and living styles. I also have a knack for traveling and visiting all the important places in the world.
The job in your company will fulfill all my innate dreams and give me full job satisfaction. From my side I promise to put in all my efforts to extend my sincere services. As I have also done MBA along with pilot’s training I have the Administrative knowledge which will help a lot in managing the crew on flight and on base. This will ensure smooth performance of duties by all the members during flight and during their halt at outside stations. I will strictly follow the code of conduct and also ensure that nobody breaks any rule during duty hours. This will have a great impact on the reputation of the company and create goodwill for the company and a phase of reliability in the mind of the passengers. I hope to get a call to meet you in person so that I can have an interlude with you in person and prove my credentials.
